Create an elegant look using navy, gold and cream tones
I couldn't be more excited to "Spring Ahead" this past weekend and transition from winter to spring. The shift in energy and the colors are a warm welcome to long frigid winter we encountered. This season, I selected a mix of navy, gold and cream, and added pops of lavender and yellow to bring a cheery spring feeling to this tablescape. The inspiration of this look all started with the striped place mats. I thought they were the perfect 'anchor' (no pun intended) to my spring coastal look (place mats by Bar Harbor Dining Accents; table runner by Dansk).
This gorgeous gold flatware set by Threshold from Target is priced at only $24.99 per 5-piece serving. I absolutely LOVE IT and it instantly dresses up any place setting. I paired the gold flatware with colorful paisley style cloth napkins by April Cornell which really pull the whole table together. The colors and design are such a welcome duo after months of winter tones.
The bowls I selected by Artistic Accents have a bright yellow finish with floral imprints. They contrast nicely against the stark white plates by Ecoware which are square in shape with rounded edges. Both have a softness about them that is inviting and crisp. They look great against the striped place mat.
To add a little sparkle and glitz to the table, I found this gorgeous gold pitcher with matching creamer/sugar by Luxe Habitat. For glassware I used replica milk bottles by Country Style Circle Ware and accented them with gold polka dot paper straws by American Crafts.

ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer --- the bowls actually came from a Homegoods near my home. Thank you so much for your kind words --- I'm sorry that you cannot find them. I will search and see if I can. FYI --- I'm going to be selling the entire tablescape. If you are interested, feel free to email me (theuniquenest@gmail.com) for pricing and details --- all the best! xo
