Quick update on those empty play room walls
Last month I posted some before and afters of my kid's play room makeover. In an attempt to "keep it real" with you the reader, I acknowledged the fact that I hadn't the time to shop for wall art let alone hang anything. So a few weeks later I'm happy to report that I'm feeling #homegoodshappy and was able to decorate the playroom with some black and white wall art and only spend about $65 in total doing so.
The pieces I chose have meaning to us in some way. For example, I always tell my children that I love them to the moon and back. Finding a canvas that reminds them of that daily was really fun.
Smack in front of the spot where they sit and draw everyday I placed a large "dream big" sign. I'm hoping it serves as a quick reminder that they can accomplish anything they want in life.
I really love this cool twist on an eye chart. My daughter also pointed out it's double meaning and now I love it even more!
Lastly, I finally got around to hanging a height ruler that my brother-in-law from Old Farmhouse Designs custom made for me...
