Repurposed Antique Tractor Seat

Master Bath Seating with vintage charm

Sometimes you just get lucky when shopping. It usually happens when you have no money with you, and you weren't looking to buy anything. This was the case with the amazing stool I found a few weeks back. I love it SO MUCH that it needed it's own blog post :)

The stool was purchased at a local artisan co-op called The Olde Mercantile in Cohoes, NY where I reside. This is the same great little shop where I found items for my DIY Coffee Station and Charming Country Decor. The owner told me that the artisan made it from an old tractor seat (how cool is that!) and added legs to it. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be the perfect balance of "old" to new in my master bathroom.

Here's a close up of this awesome stool...

To compliment my newly found stool, I decided to pair it with a mid-century modern end table I found on Craigslist. It had been sitting in my basement and I was toying around with painting it, but I couldn't bring my self to do it. I'm so glad I didn't touch it because I love the warmth it adds to my monochromatic gray bathroom.

Sometimes the best fix for adding decor to a space is to incorporate something totally random! A piece that catches your eye every time you walk by it. Thanks for stopping by today - hope you like my latest find!
