House Tour

"May your walls know joy, may every room hold laughter, and every window open to great possibility."
- Mary Anne Radmacher

Our home is truly a joy. It is a place of comfort, gatherings, family, celebration, rest, creativity, expression and relaxation. We count our blessings everyday and our truly thankful for what has been bestowed upon us.

What makes our home extra special is that the land it was built upon has been in the family since I was seven years old. I never thought as a young girl that the vacant lot I would stare at everyday from my bedroom window would one day become the blank canvas for my dream home. The home design was conceived by my husband Carmen and I. It started out as sketches on paper and a list of must-haves. Through the help of our architect and one talented building crew, our dreams were realized.

Join me as I take you in through the front door and welcome you to our humble abode. Thanks for stopping by my nest.

  2. Oh, I am in love with your home and I "may" have to steal your ideas for my own! I would love to see more of the outside architecture of the house - you and your hubby kick butt with the design!

  3. Your home is gorgeous! I adore your kitchen. How many feet do you have between the counter on the wall and your island?

    1. Thank you so much my friend!!! There are roughly 4 ft. between my range and island --- it's really a great work space...also, my island is 9 ft. long and I think about 3-4 feet wide.
